Dr. Poonam Nathu's passion and personal experience with Vision Therapy has led her to build a practice to help adults and children overcome life-altering visual dysfunctions in a personalized manner where everyone feels heard and seen.

Developmental
Vision Exams

80% of learning is visual, which means that if your child is having difficulty in school, the visual system could be a factor. Vision is much more than 20/20. 

Brain Injury
Evaluation

Traumatic brain injuries (TBI) often result in severe effects on visual system function. 

Infant
Exams

During a comprehensive infant eye exam, we evaluate the visual system to ensure it is supportive of and does not interfere with development and learning. 

Autism/SPD
Evaluation

The visual system of someone with Autism or Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) requires special testing and often benefits significantly from vision therapy and/or yoked prism or ambient lenses. 

Meet Our Doctor

Dr. Nathu was born and raised in Southern California. Her family lived in Irvine California for over 20 years. Dr. Nathu had completed her undergraduate degree in Bio Physiology at the University of Washington in 2009. She then attended Western University of Health Sciences College of Optometry, where she received her degree in Optometry (O.D.) in 2014. Upon graduation, she moved to Dallas, Texas to complete her residency training in Neuro-Development and Vision Therapy/Rehabilitation under Dr. Charles Shidlofsky.
